I'm Andrew Damon-Smith — a machine learning engineer who spends most of his time between model code, inference infrastructure, and the small tools that make both easier to ship.

This site is where I write things down. The goal is simple: to share what I learn in the open, meet other people building in the same space, and maybe save someone else a few of the weekends I've already burned figuring this stuff out.

What I'm working on

iosuite is my main focus right now — a hosted and open-source suite of AI-powered creative tools. Under the hood it's built on a set of small inference servers (real-esrgan-serve, ffmpeg-serve, and more), all open source.

Everything runs on infrastructure I maintain myself — see my vps-config, nvim-config, and terminal-config if you want to see the wiring.
